Promises

Rainbows remind me of God's promises and how He keeps them no matter what. As we traveled to church yesterday, we had one of those beautiful reminders. This was the first time that my 12 year old had seen a complete rainbow. He's seen the little rainbow squares that sometimes show up, but this was a very full, very vivid rainbow. In fact, at one point, it was a double rainbow, but I missed that shot. :(

One picture that I took was right at the Ace Hardware store. Not the prettiest scenery that we could have found, but the rainbow made the shot pretty. I never realized how junky that store looked before ....

This one, however, came out much better. What better place for a rainbow than over a church. Now, this isn't my church (although, it is the church I grew up in), but a symbol of God's promises over one of God's churches is just plain beautiful.

This shot was taken *as the truck was moving*. I was amazed at the clarity considering the movement (and I don't like to drive slow :) ).

And, yes, those storm clouds produced a nice storm while we were in worship, but that's ok. We needed the rain! :)

I hope that you can take comfort and joy in the promises from Him and that when you see those colors in the sky, you, too, remember those promises.

Live the life, and live it well. :)
