Disconcerting

It's quite disconcerting to put a brand new, digital camera under the water ... even if it's meant to be waterproof. It just feels wrong, ya know?! Anyway, that's what I did today. My oldest couldn't believe that I was actually going to put it *in* the water, but I stuck that sucker down there and took a picture.

Pretty clear picture, isn't it??? I am *loving* this camera.

It's so nice to be able to take the camera out to the pool and not worry about it falling on the concrete deck or into the water or to worry about it getting splashed and ruined.

Here's Jaydin ... armed and ready!







I think that the boys are going to help me teach her to swim this year. She'll be going strong by the end of the summer, I think.






Both boys took a turn - or two - playing with her in the water and helping her get comfortable in the pool. She had a great time - and loves those boys.






See what I mean? And her head went under a couple of times. She sputtered a little, but never cried or fussed.






Imagine that, Jared LOVES shooting everyone with water blasters.






Jared is helping her swim, again. I don't want her dependent on floats, but it was good for her to learn that she can rest a little on there.








And ... she gets Jared back. He deserved it! LOL!! She was a pretty good shot with that thing, too. Now, if she'd just learn that you *pull* it to fill it up and *push* it to squirt it out........ She seemed to have the hang of it in this picture, though.
