It's been quite a while, hasn't it? Well, brace yourselves.....our cruise just ended, so I will soon begin my Cruise Installments. :) I know that you are all sooooooo excited and very anxious for me to get started. Hopefully, pictures can be resized soon and the installments can begin.
As some of you know, I DIS. DIS = post, keep up with, chat on, and lurk on DISboards.com. This activity has added SO much to my cruise experience. This year, I met, online, a group of wonderful people with whom I chatted for over 8 months. All of us were anxious to 'meet' in person after chatting with one another online for so long. Would all of the people be as they are on the chat? Would we get along? Would we *like* them?? Meeting for the first time was, indeed, interesting. Preconceived notions had to bite the dust and reality had to take hold. You will learn more about the 'real' people as the installments go on, but suffice it to say that we truly enjoyed meeting all of them and that there was only one that really rubbed me the wrong way (which was ok, as long as that didn't put her 2nd in line.....). I truly hope that I will be able to adequately describe people, moments, and experiences for you. Our trip - and the group of DIS people that joined us on this trip - was amazing.
