Snow ... one week later

Whew ... it's been a BUSY couple of months. I'm sorry!! I've done well to keep up with my creative blog, but haven't had the time or energy to keep this one up to date. So ... let's give it a go. :)


One week after the snow in Georgia, we STILL had snow on the ground. In fact, we had snow on the ground at least 12 days after the snow fell. For us .... that's AMAZING and unheard of. Even when we've had a blizzard come through and we were without power for 3 days, the snow was gone within a week. That's just the way snow is in Georgia .... and one reason it's such a big deal around here.

So, how much snow did we have on the ground a week later??

Yeah ... no coat. It was, like, 50 degrees out there! Crazy weather ... and crazy snow.













Perfect day for a portrait?? Yeah, I really like this one.














How deep was it?? Deep enough to slide in ... at least a little. It was a little slushy, though. She had a blast playing in it most of the afternoon.











I think she had great form on her jumps!!
