365 Project - Day 25 Rock Stars

Do you know a rock star?  I sure do ... in fact, I know 2.  One is an amazing young man named Nicholas.  In December, he went through brain surgery in an effort to stop seizures he's had to endure for a long time.  During his recovery, he had a stroke and is now having to regain his motor skills, speech, and strength.  He's already come a long way, but still has tough journey ahead.  I admire his strength and determination.  Go get 'em, Nicholas!  Praying for a 110% recovery.

Our other rock star is our sweet barn friend, Kayla.  One year ago today, Kayla had an MRI in the emergency room.  The MRI showed a mass on her brain.  That day, she had surgery to put in a drain to release some of the pressure on her brain from the fluid.  Three days later, she had another surgery to remove the mass.  The biopsy came back and the news was not good.  She's been dealing with radiation and chemo since then.  It's been a long year, but there's a light at the end of this very dark tunnel.  She has 2 more cycles of chemo left to endure.  Come on, Kayla!! Cowgirl up!!

For Nicholas and Kayla ..... You Rock!!!!!!

Psalm 30:2 - Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.

For the rest of you .... Live the life, and live it well. :)
