Today's project is a celebration of our snow day today.
Yes ... that's a bluebird on the ground in the 10 AM picture.
Hard to believe this storm came so fast and causes such havoc. Many, many people are stuck on the roads, in hotels, in the homes of family or friends, or, even, in the homes of strangers. My sweet hubby got stuck and had to walk several miles to my mom's house. At least, he is safe and warm. There are hundreds of kids and teachers stuck in the schools in our county because the administration refused to release the kids early enough.
I'm thankful that my kids were home all day, my hubby made it to safety and warmth, and that we are safe and secure for the night.
And, I'm also thankful for a fun snow day for the kids and me. Looking forward to another fun day playing in the snow tomorrow. Gotta wax the runners on the sled!! :)
