We were running a little later than we planned by the time we finished lunch. We planned to be at the Magic Kingdom gate at 4 PM - the time they begin allowing the guests in that have tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We weren't running really late, but we didn't want to miss a moment in the park if we could help it. Once we got in the gate, Mark went to get a stroller and my mom decided to check out the scooters (for adults). After trying one out, she chose to get one for the evening. GREAT choice for her!! She got a lot more enjoyment from the evening because she had that scooter. :)
We were also due to meet some DISser friends to hand off some lanyards for the cruise. Jaime's girls knew that they were going to Disney, but didn't have any idea that they would be on the cruise for Halloween. We were going to give them that news by handing them their cruise lanyards.
After meeting Jaime and her family, we took off to enjoy our evening.I simply love this picture. Jaydin looks totally taken with Mr. Goofy. :)
One of the first characters we saw was Buzz Lightyear. For whatever reason, this was one of the MAIN characters that Jaydin wanted to see. When we walked out of the Carousel of Progress, there he was! There was a line, and while we were there, he had to go in for a break, but we stuck it out.....

Two Auroras??? :)
The villain in the story of Sleeping Beauty (Aurora is that princess...) is Maleficent. It was awesome to get a picture of my Aurora with Maleficent after the Villain Show. And Jaydin was thrilled. I thought she might be frightened, but she wasn't ... not a bit. We couldn't get closer to Maleficent, but her pose made it worth it.
At MNSSHP, the guest are encouraged to trick-or-treat at many locations around the park. One of the fun pieces of candy that Jaydin received was a chocolate 'eyeball.' I expect this out of my boys, but .....The Boo To You Parade is awesome, and we got our seats early for that (well, early for us.... I typically don't DO parades.). Jaydin sat down on the curb and when the parade started, she waved and waved and waved ..... and waved ... and waved ... and waved .... and waved - the WHOLE parade. I know that little arm was about to fall off. She had to be exhausted just from waving.
The next installment will focus on our move from Orlando to Port Canaveral and getting ready to get on the boat!!! :)
