Our church has a wonderful, amazing praise band, and I am so very thankful for them. They are playing the music for our Easter musical. It's so liberating to direct a musical with live music. We can speed things up, slow things down, or tweak the arrangement a bit to better fit the service. I'm so thankful that those in the band are practicing so hard to make this work so well for the kids (who will be singing it). I'm SO excited about presenting this musical on Easter morning and about sharing Christ in such a powerful way. Without the praise band, I don't think this musical would be nearly as powerful and effective.
Christ the Lord is Risen Today is one of the songs included in the musical. It was good to hear the band playing it tonight in rehearsal.
Live the life, and live it well.
