My, my, my....

It has been a while, hasn't it?! Yikes. Sorry about that.

I would love to tell you that I'm going to finish up the pictures from that trip in 2009. The truth is, it's probably not going to happen. Heck, I don't think I'll even manage to get the 2010 trip on here at this point!

So, I'm starting new. Today, I'm going to share some shots from our December Family Fun Day. It was my month to plan. For this day of fun, we made lots of fun Christmas goodies. The premise was that we were packing a box of Christmas fun for my Marine son, Jared. We had plans that evening to take the box to the airport where we would meet a 'guy' that would get the box to Jared faster than the post office could. My 5-year-old daughter had no idea, but the 'guy' was actually Jared, who was coming home for the first time in a year.

Jonah working hard on his creation.

Decorating cookies.

Mark working on his cookies.

My mom working on her cookies.

Some of the finished creations.

Gingerbread houses. Everyone had their own to decorate.

Mom working on her house.

Reindeer food to put out on Christmas eve.

We succeeded in surprising my 5 year old and had a wonderful Christmas season with all 3 of my kids at home.

Later, I will post pictures of each of our 6 Christmas trees ... AND our WHITE Christmas. Yep ... first time in 128 years that the Atlanta area has had a white Christmas.

I hope each of you had a wonderful Christmas.

Live the life, and live it well. :)

Your family really put a lot of effort into making those cookies. So glad everything turned out with having Jared home. The cookies look great!!!
